Individual Learning Accounts in England to be Suspended Education and Skills Secretary, Estelle Morris, has announced that the Individual Learning Account (ILA) programme is to be suspended from December 7 in England. NAEGA has concerns about the suspension at short notice of this programme which has helped so many learners. It hopes that there will be a full and speedy review with consultation. There needs to be consultation with learners, with guidance services and with providers both public and private. |
