New Chief Executive for the
Guidance Council

Cathy Berenznicki has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of the Guidance Council. She took up her post on 2 September and Kate Dale, formerly of the Learning and Skills Council in England, the interim CE, will continue to assist her until end of December.

Cathy is currently Head of Special Projects at NESTA, [National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts]. A Careers Officer who trained in the late 1970s, Cathy was Principal Careers Officer for Hammersmith and Fulham for three years before becoming Chief Executive of the ICG in 1993 where she served for five years.
