Exciting New Development Federation of Guidance Professional Associations

The Federation of Guidance Professional Associations is a new body which aims to:

influence advances in quality assurance in the arena of guidance linked to lifelong learning and work, in particular by:

• exploring the harmonisation of professional qualifications and training in guidance
• identifying common research needs to underpin professional practice, and providing a research resource for other bodies conducting research in guidance

The current members are NAEGA, ICG, NAMSS, NACGT, AGCAS, IACMP and the group is chaired by Julia Jones of NAEGA.
