Support for business

To help businesses during the current global economic downturn, support available from across government has now been brought together in one easy-to-access place. Business link.gov.uk/realhelp provides advice on how businesses can save money, access finance, keep on their staff, improve skills and productivity, and reduce waste and energy. It includes the latest information about the Train to Gain package available, particularly for small and medium-sized employers.
The government has recently launched a campaign to raise businesses awareness of this support. Those who work with employers can help businesses by passing on news about the website and the support available through Business Link.
