Contracts awarded to deliver an integrated adult careers service

The Skills Funding Agency has announced the appointment of 12 organisations (see below) to deliver Next Step, an integrated adult careers service in England from August.

Next Step will make information, advice and resources available online as well as through advisers on the telephone and face to face, helping adults of all ages and at any stage in their lives, make the right choices about skills, careers and qualifications.

Next Step will be available to all adults, aged 19 and over, (or 18 and over if a Jobcentre Plus customer) in England, whatever their age, qualification, skill level or employment status.

The Skills Funding Agency is responsible for the commissioning, contracting and performance management of the integrated adult careers service. It has appointed 12 organisations to deliver face-to-face and telephone services: the Skills Funding Agency will deliver the online element of the service.
